There was a problem with girlfriends and players' wives putting up a base that was located near their World Cup training camp and Fabio Capello has decided to put a ban on this from happening.
The team will be training 14 miles from Rustenberg and that is where the base was going on and so the coach decided that it should not be allowed and that it will be off limits and if anyone tries to do anything there they could get into serious trouble.
Capello is worried about distractions and he just does not want the team to have any. He thinks that with them so close that it would indeed cause a distraction. There are some who disagree with him saying that it would not but Capello is ignoring the ones who are not agreeing with him because he claims he is watching out for his team and wants them to play their best.
When the games are finished they will have one free day and they are free to do whatever they want but it is only that one day. Steven Gerrard is one of the ones that backs him up and says his wife will not be there.
