NASCAR Hall of Fame

Charlotte, North Carolina is getting extremely excited for the opening of the NASCAR Hall of Fame today. As one of the most popular sports in the US, the Hall of Fame opening ceremony will attract a huge number of NASCAR stars, as well as celebrities and musicians from the world of entertainment.

There will be an hour-long ceremony to welcome the opening of the doors of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, including North Carolina governor Beverly Perdue and other high ranking local officials. There will also be stars of NASCAR's curves from both recent times and from years past, which will definitely give the NASCAR Hall of Fame a hint of something special.

A huge amount of investment was needed to open the doors of the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Estimates put the total at $195 million – and the organizers have claimed that it is the most technologically advanced Hall of Fame of any sport. There are more than 150 television screens showing archive footage of the racers from around the US.

The first induction ceremony to the NASCAR Hall of Fame will take place on May 23rd, 2010, and should also be a special event full of superstars.
