Ashley had an affair with Ann Corbitt who is a American. In order to try and cover up the story he tried to use a Chelsea club official to help with making sure that it did not get out.
Corbitt said that Ashley called him every single night. Not just once but at least three or four times a night. There where times when he would call him at least five times per night. Other times he called every half hour. He begged her to not tell anyone about the affair so the newspaper would not have anything. He would always say how bad everything was for him, how he did not mean for her to get into it.
One thing that Corbitt is unhappy about is people have been calling her up saying they know other people who might try and destroy her career because of what all happened. The only reason why she decided to be opened about it was because of what happened with the model. After that she spoke up and decided to come clean. Some feel that Corbitt wants to cause problems with his wife but she has no intentions of causing any problems with her.
