England Won't Have Terry As A Captain

At first it looked like John Terry would be staying as captain of England but Coach Fabio Capello recently confirmed that he won't be captain again.

There was some hope that he would be staying as captain but that hope was all coming from Terry. He wanted everything to die down with what all happened but it does not look like it will anytime soon. Terry was very disappointed about everything and losing his captaincy with England.

One of the main reasons is that Terry had an example to the young and he had a lot of children that where fans. He did not do his duty and failed those children because of it.

Another player on the Chelsea team that might not see the World Cup because of his form and lack of it is Joe Cole. If he does not start changing soon and shows that he really wants this then he might lose the World Cup.

With the players losing Terry as a captain there will be some changes made but right now it is not said as to what those changes on the team will be. The coach is not saying anything yet nor if anyone else is leaving.

Ashley Cole Is Not Worried About Breaking Up With His Wife

With all of the marital affairs out in the opened now Ashley Cole's wife singer Cheryl has decided to split up with him. People thought that Ashley would be sad about this and would want to work on the relationship but he says that he does not care.

A fellow patient asked him recently how he was coping with the split up and his marriage ending but he said that he did not care at all. His main focus right now was on getting and staying fit. He is not trying to focus on Cheryl because he wants to do good with his job. He is a man that is in a crisis and a rough spot but if you look at him you would not know that he was.

Shirts With Plastic Bottles Are Worn By Football Players

There are new shirts being worn in Portugal, Brazil, and Holland. The shirts have recycled plastic bottles on them. They are not the only ones to be wearing these new shirts. Slovenia, Serbia, New Zealand, Australia, South Korea and the USA will also be wearing them. Some say other states and teams might be joining in on it but they are not sure.

The shirts are made with polyester that is 100 per cent spun and the makers of the new green shirts is Nike. The shirts have at least eight bottles and then they have around 200 laser holes that are cut and very tiny on the shirts that helps with the flow of air and the players stay dry when they are playing.

Charlie Denson who is the brand boss said that Nike was really wanting to show their support with the environmental impact with the products. They are recycling around 13 million bottles with these products. Denson feels that the consumers should not be punished because they have picked environmental friendly products to use during the games. The main reason why is because the cost is a lot lower and that helps them out a lot.

Chopra Was In A Cell For Several Hours

Michael Chopra is a soccer star that is very troubled right now and he is losing a lot of fans because of his most recent actions. People are not really sure what to think about Michael Chophra at the moment and many are very disappointed in him and how he has been acting.

Chopra is a six million pound Cardiff City striker. Not very many people can do the things that he does. His strength profounds everyone but as a result he has lots of pressure on him. People feel that because of the pressure he has on him was why he acted in a drunken manner and was in a cell for four hours. Elin Nordegren Apologized To Tiger Woods Daughters School

The private preschool that the two year old daughter of Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren attends has been getting swamped with the media. Their daughter Sam should be left out of this and so should the school because they had nothing to do with this. They are not very happy that the press is causing problems at Sam's school.

They sent a letter to the school with their apology. They are hoping that the school forgives them and will still allow their two year old to attend there and that teachers will not think bad about their child and that parents will still allow their children to play with their child.

In conclusion with the letter it said that they hoped the paparazzi will soon find something else to do instead of trying to bother the school with this. They are wanting people to move on and they hope that the press will soon leave Sam's school alone so that she can be focused and enjoy her time during the school without having to worry about the press. It is unsure of what might happen if the press continues to bother the school because they may or may not take action against the press if they continue.

Security Becomes Very Tight In India

The cricket match is to be held in India plus South Africa coming up on Feb 24th. With the game being in India security personnel was deployed at the Captain Roop Singh Stadium.

They depeloyed around 2,000 armed security for the game to make sure that nothing happens and if something does they will be on top of it and take care of things really fast. Ticket holders who are valid will be the only ones allowed in the stadium. Only water bottles can be carried into the stadium and nothing else. The security arrangements made is at three-tier to make sure that nothing happens. The tickets have a bar code on them and this can ensure the authenticity that comes with the bar code. If anyone causes any problems it will be dealt with right away and the security will be watching everyone that is at the games.

When the teams arrive they will have tight security on the outside of the airport so nothing will happen when they arrive. They will also have security while going to their hotels. They just feel this is the best way to handle things while the teams are playing in India to make sure that nothing happens.

Wayne Rooney Might Be Close To A Burn Out

Boss Sir Alex Ferguson is now concerned about his ace striker Wayne Rooney. People have been saying that Wayne Rooney of Manchester United is very close to a burn out because of all the things that have happened lately.

Lately Rooney has had a really heavy workload. Such a heavy workload that it could be causing him to buckle under in a very bad way. He has played at full throttle in many matches. So much so that when the end of the season comes he might be burned out. If the coach does not allow him to get some rest that could be when he burns out but if he gets rest he might feel refreshed and ready for the next game.

People think that United depends on Rooney way to much and it appears that it is true. Ashley Tried Hiding His Affair

Ashley had an affair with Ann Corbitt who is a American. In order to try and cover up the story he tried to use a Chelsea club official to help with making sure that it did not get out.

Corbitt said that Ashley called him every single night. Not just once but at least three or four times a night. There where times when he would call him at least five times per night. Other times he called every half hour. He begged her to not tell anyone about the affair so the newspaper would not have anything. One thing that Corbitt is unhappy about is people have been calling her up saying they know other people who might try and destroy her career because of what all happened. Afridi Should Not Be Punished Further For Ball Tampering

Imran Khan is a former Pakistan captain and feels that Shahid Afridi has been punished enough with ball tampering. When you play cricket he feels that it is just part of the game and you should not be punished as much as Afridi has been.

Tyson Voted Into The Boxing Hall Of Fame And Thrilled

The international Boxing Hall of Fame might be seeing a new name as the former world heavy weight boxing champion Mike Tyson has been voted to go into the Hall of Fame.

Tyson was also invited to the Golden Globes because he had a role in "The Hangover" and because of that role they invited him. He has now learned about being in the Hall of Fame and he is very thrilled and honored to be part of it. People like Sugar Ray Leonard and Muhammad Ali is part of the Hall of Fame and he just never thought that he would be one of those guys mixed in with them. He is very delighted about this and the representative with Tyson said that this year has been amazing for him and they look forward to what else is going to happen.

In the year 2005 Tyson had retired from the ring. In order to be part of the Hall you have to wait at least five years and then you might have a chance of being voted in. There are some people who just never make it so it really is an honor to be part of the Hall of Fame.

New Turkish Football Coach Might Be Hughes

Turkey might be getting a new boss that will be national. Mark Sparky Hughes is the former coach with Manchester City. He is on the shortlist and there is a good chance that he might get this.

Manager Backs Up Terry

Tiger Woods wife Elin Nordegren will be joining Tiger Woods on a private yacht to help save their marriage. They plan on sailing all the way through the Caribbean and just want some peace and quiet. He does not want any of the press bothering them while they are away. He wants his marriage to be saved and he is hoping that this works out for both of them but feels if the press continues that it might not.

Tiger Woods will soon be released from treatment with his sexual addiction. After he is released then they will start on the voyage right away. The only people that will be on the cruise will be him and his wife plus eight people for the crew. They really trust the crew members and feel that they won't cause any problems.

Togo star Emmanuel Adebayor Got A Scare

The team bus that Emmanuel Adebayor was on in South Africa was attacked by terrorists while they where there and the terrorists opened fire scaring everyone on the bus and Emmanuel Adebayor was not sure if he would actually make it back to the Manchester City because of the way the terrorists acted.

He is very glad to be back home and in the city. It was a really scary time for him when he did not even know if he would see he stadium in the city or his fans ever again. He feels much better and it had been awhile since he played a full game and that really helped him out.

Three people that where on the bus were killed. Emmanuel Adebayor was helping out because he was on international duty that day for the African Nations Cup. He actually was able to score and they won the game.
