Neil Robertson managed to bag a £20,000 bonus after completing a 147 break, however it was the single frame he picked up in a match which otherwise had little upside - losing 5-1 to Peter Ebdon. The former World Champion Ebdon will now go through to the Quarter Finals where he will face local favourite Ding Jihui.

The China Open's quarter finals will also feature snooker hero Stephen Hendry, who gave Ryan Day a rough time, hammering him 5-0.

In the highest profile match of the night, Mark Williams beat Scot John Higgins 5-2. Williams will now face Hong Kong's Marco Fu in the China Open snooker Quarter Finals. For the full draw, as well as the comprehensive Round 2 results, look below.
